Opportunities - 

  • Internet Safety Presentation for Families (password: PSC1) - 
    • The United States Attorney’s Office is hosting a virtual Internet safety presentation for parents the Wednesday, January 18th, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.  
    • The presentation, entitled Keeping Kids Safe and Secure Online:  A Project Safe Childhood Presentation for Parents, will bring awareness to the dangers of the internet, including gaming and social media platforms that predators use to groom children with the intent of exploiting them sexually online or for an in-person meeting.

  • Community Health Programs Family Service offers - Individual Education Plan 101
    • For families that have children with special needs on January 11 at 11 am
    • This program is open to all, but you must register (Spanish interpretation will be available)

  • YLP Class of 2023-2024 is now OPEN and accepting applications from any and all Sophomores enrolled in schools in the Berkshires (or homeschool programs). 
    • The deadline for students to apply is February 10th, 2023. Every applicant will be interviewed, and 30 students from across the county will be selected to participate. 
    • YLP aims to have representation from every school in the Berkshires, so please help us reach your students!

  • Radio Show Informational Meeting
    • Any 11th or 12th-grade student interested in learning about hosting a music or talk show for WCFM 91.9, the Williams College radio station, should come to an informational meeting in Ms. Tucker-Smith’s room during DS on Monday, January 9. 
    • No experience needed!
