Good Morning, MG Students and Families,

Happy Friday! As we approach the end of another school year, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. We are incredibly proud of all our students, their hard work, resilience, and accomplishments. Specifically, our seniors who are finishing their regularly scheduled classes early next week and preparing for finals, senior week, and graduation.

We look forward to all our students, especially seniors, finishing the year strong.

End of Year Schedule: 

  • The 17th & 18th of June are full days for grades 7-11

    • For high school students:

      • Finals will occur in the first half of the day as typically scheduled.

      • The second half of the day will be a directed study period.

    • For middle school students:

      • They will have their regularly scheduled classes

  • The 20th is the last day of school and is a half day for all students

    • For high school students:

      • Make-up finals

    • For middle school students

      • Regularly scheduled classes


Work Permit Information: 

  • The attached letter encourages parents and teens to discuss workplace safety and informs teens about their employee rights. 

  • Should families or students have questions about youth employment or the MA wage and hour laws, please do not hesitate to contact the Fair Labor Division at (617) 727-3465.

  • Workers who believe their rights violated should file complaints with the Fair Labor Division on our website (www.mass.gov/ago/fld).  

  • Here is a Fact Sheet that highlights protections for young immigrant workers who are particularly vulnerable to workplace exploitation. 

    • It is important to note that our wage and hour laws protect all workers, regardless of immigration status.

Graduation: 

  • June 7th at 11 am (tickets required)

  • WilliNet will stream graduation live on willinet.org, ROKU, Apple TV, the Fire TV app, and Spectrum TV on channel 1303 in Williamstown.

  • Nurse Larson is retiring!

  • After 37 years, our Nurse, Kathy Larson, is retiring from LES!

  • Please help us say goodbye by sharing your funny stories, affirmations, and ways that Nurse Larson impacted you during her 37 years in our community. 

  • We will share your notes with her as a gift when she retires at the end of this school year.
