I hope this final stretch of the school year and your summer planning are going smoothly!

Since all our students have an "all access" year round subscription to the New York Times, I thought I'd share an invite to take part in The New York Times’s 17th Annual Summer Reading Contest, which launched on June 5. It’s a great way to keep your students reading, writing and thinking critically over the summer with real-world content. 

All you have to do to participate is report what you’re reading, watching or listening to in The New York Times and why. Students can enter by submitting a short written response — or they can make a video up to 90 seconds long. Click on the link above to learn more.
