The Secret Lives of Teen Girls

Thanks for the tremendous turnout for our March parent talk, The Secret Lives of Teen Girls. Evelyn Resh, a certified nurse-midwife with a Master's in Public Health, discussed the major topics of her book and then ran an informative, frank and funny anonymous Q & A session. Thanks to the administration as well as the PTOs of LES and WES for cosponsoring.

Capping off a day of presentations to students & staff, Dr. Jennifer Michaels informed parents about the adolescent brain and substance abuse. As the medical director of the Brien Center, she is a leading expert on all the latest risks for our children. The presentation was followed by ample opportunities for Q & A. Presented and funded by nb21, with the assistance of the MGRHS, LES, and WES PTOs

About Us The MGRHS PTO is a group of parents working with teachers and staff to achieve the school’s mission to prepare all students to achieve their full potential as learners in an ever-changing world. Our goal for the 2011-2012 school year is to strengthen communications throughout the Greylock community. As an organization, we would like to champion Mt Greylock within our communities, including efforts to develop support for a new school building. We feel that a strong communications network meets the needs we see and promotes the whole school.
