About Us:  The mission of the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of Lanesborough and New Ashford is to provide scholarships to students from Lanesborough and New Ashford to pursue higher education.  Community members and students volunteer thousands of hours each year towards fund raising activities.  CSFLNA is also supported by donations from businesses, organizations and private citizens.

          For 50 years, the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of Lanesborough and New Ashford has been awarding scholarships to graduating seniors who live in the towns of Lanesborough or New Ashford. Community members and students raise money for these scholarships through an annual wreath sale and plant sale, raffles and the generous support of local businesses and private citizens.

   In June , the CSFLNA awarded $8,150 to 7 applicants from the class of 2012.  Congratulations to Logan Wilson and Samantha Quinn, co-recipients of the $500.00 Beverly Wall scholarship for a student interested in a health career. Congratulations also to Mackenzie Hitchcock, who shares the Ron Monteleone Memorial Scholarship with Logan Wilson. Kudos also to Michaela DiNicola, Noah Kelley, Joshua Harrington and Andrew Hebert.

These scholarships would not be possible  without the generous and continued support of our business community, including:  DR Billings,Inc.,Edward Restivo Contractor, Gary Albert and Son, Injected Solutions,  Maxymillian Technologies, Nonamie Trailer Park,  Churchill Gardens, Greylock Physical Therapy, Tina Monteleone in memory of Ron Monteleone, Sayers Auto Wrecking,and Pruyne Enterprises Business Consultant.

2012/2013  

We are very excited to begin another successful year!

      Chapter Elections were held last June. CSFLNA Officers are as follows:

The board also welcomes student representative Board Members:  Cady Ketcham, Lindsay Wick and Arianna Bashara, Class of 2013; Carly Christman, Kelsy Hebert, and Samantha Hamilton, Class of 2014. Other class representative TBA.

THE SEPT. MEETING  WILL BE HELD MONDAY, SEPT.24, 2012, 7 PM , IN THE LANESBORO SCHOOL LIBRARY .

Upcoming events include a Bus Trip to Salem, MA., our annual Food and Fun in  the Berkshires raffle calendar, and our traditional Christmas Wreath sale Nov. 17th at Lanesboro School.
