SEE Fund 4K Run
On Saturday, September 3 at 12:15 pm, runners of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the first annual SEE Fund 4k. The race will be held at Mt. Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown. The rolling 4k course will follow the same woodland trails used the same day for the Mt. Greylock X-Country Invitational, a classic fall event for middle and high school runners from Berkshire County. This is a chance for spectators, friends, family, and other aspiring runners to participate, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of the Berkshire hills.
Registration will open at 10 am on the day of the event; go to the table marked with the SEE Fund banner. The entry fee is $10 for individuals or $25 for families. Runners are encouraged to arrive early, both to register and to watch the high school races. Concessions offered by the cross-country teams will be available for purchase. The course will not be open to preview ahead of time, but it will be well marked and is designed for easy viewing by spectators. The race will be held rain or shine. Come dressed to run as indoor locker room facilities will not be available.
The SEE Fund has been active at MGRHS since 1996. Its mission is to sustain educational excellence by providing financial support for superior educational initiatives at Mt. Greylock Regional School. The endowment is managed by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. For questions, please contact John Gerry at jgerry@williams.edu.
